As I said, just let me know about any problems with connecting your Wii to the Internet. If you want to do the Basic Brawl on the With Anyone part of Wi-fi, then you will definitly need some help with that. Basically you'll have to mess around with your wireless router.
Exactly, I need a wireless router. It's nothing that I can't afford. I just gotta find a reason to tell my parents why I need a wireless router now ^ ^;
If you have regular high speed internet, you could get the Wii LAN Adapter from the Nintendo website:
Then you would connect the high speed wire into the adapter's ethernet port and you would have, in fact, a high quality connection than the wireless one.

You say you use a laptop, right? Well how does it connect to the internet? Wirelessly, or by a direct ethernet connection. And if it is the latter, then is it connected to a router or to the wall. (I won't be able to respond for about an hour)
Yeah it's direct ethernet connection, thats why I'm still planning to get a wireless router, but that still supports ethernet connection.
Well, for now you could get the LAN adapter, and then save up the money for a wireless router. But take my word for it, a wired connection is much faster than the wireless. It took me forever to get rid of my lag on wireless.
Well I actually have enough right now since I work and my parents don't take away money from me. So I'll get it somewhere around this week. But I still have to see when I could squeeze some playtime = )
